Eman and Trucker; That's good to know;thanks!
Simon;will Angharad be coming with you, or do you have a childcare problem? It would be a shame if only one of you could come...
i can't tell you how much i am looking forward to englishman's bar-b-q, thoroughly looking forward to it, can't wait.. one thing frightens me though, how 'normal' do i have to behave on the day, i mean, will there be decent music there, music that gets me dancin?
will i be able to let my hair down a bit within reason?.
women, if they're all spoken for already, well, it won't get boring will it?

Well,I don't know about you lot, but if Englishman's going to be in the garden with his helmet on show i'm not coming!!!!!!!!
i know i asked this absolutely yonks back, then by the name of celtic, but with so many newcomers here i thought no harm but to ask once again.. how many artists do we have here or working in art related fields including film, music, theatre, environment, gardening, sculpture, graphic design, illustration, fine art, photograpy etc etc?.
what hobbies do you have?
how do you see your future artistic horizons opening up?
Hi Invisible
Do you get involved in any kind of Art?
I've been painting/drawing etc for a long time now.
Usually comissions;have three to finish, that arn't getting done!
Have finished classes I was attending, no more naked men for a while!
Starting Fine Art degree proper in sept;(we're off to Paris in Oct ,I chose wisely!)decided I had to get qualifications-I need a job that pays better than exhibitions1
As for the future;I still can't decide-maybe teaching-maybe sculpture ,as that was my Grandfather 's thing -I really don't know-anything as long as it 's art orientated-it relaxes me to the point of borderline coma !
Art therapy with the mentally handicapped or elderly would be rather nice.
My other passion is gardening;i'm doing some work and designing them-great fun and also relaxing-I seem to spend my life in a constant state of bliss nowadays !!!
I wondered where you'd gone! You were one of the first people I 'spoke' to here...are you ok?Happy?
come back soon...xx
hey wind, its so good to have you here.
The Methodist thing...I remember making models of flat roofed houses...and having church sales outings, and making models carved from soap for some obscure reason!.They were always helping out African communities and the like;they encouraged positive action...We used to stay in church for about 10 minutes ,then off upstairs to Sunday school so we did'nt have to listen to the 'boring stuff' Even as a child I was very grateful for their consideration..that's why I never stayed at a meeting if the kids were bored-we just got up and went home when they'd had enough!...i'd been pre-programmed to keep them happy!

Hey Windy; At 2.50 a glass in a pub;the dregs are all anyone can afford! The trouble with red is that it slips down too easily, the remedy is a bottle from home and a large handbag! BOTTOMS UP!
I'm termite as (my daughter chose the name) i'd just sawn a huge gash out of the wooden worksurface in the kitchen by accident;and my yacht-builder-supreme hubby was slightly exasperated with my constant attempts to take his crown and banned me from ever touching his tools (!??!)again on pain of death...
ok all you lucky people, this is the big one!.
every july, around about the time of my birthday, her ladyship and myself host the barbie to end all barbies.
fun, frolics and fizz are the order of the day, this is the social event, places are more in demand than tickets to watch england play (that's artistic licence btw), even dub in the pub turned up last year.. originally started 10 years ago to get the local pubs regulars together, i usually invite about 40 from the pub, about 15 little & big hooper's, and i am now throwing open an invitation for about 15 - 20 posters from this site to join in the fun.. the event will, weather permitting, take place on sunday july 21. meet at the waverley pub, severn road, weston - super - mare between 12noon and 3pm.
If I am sucsessful in the vote I will ,of course turn up with lots of expensive beer and cheap female companions who have no respect for themselves whatsoever.....
last saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.
he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.
i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".
A teenager on our circuit died in a car crash..he'd only faded away. When the story of his death was related to me the teller finished with the words...
'YES...DEAD...BUT HE WAS'NT ACTIVE ANYMORE...''The mother recieved MEASURED sympathy ...
hardhearted to the core.
